The purpose of the foundation is to preserve and share our Swedish heritage with the Swedish-American community
through cultural, social and educational programs and events.
The Foundation seeks to acheive its goals by using its tax exempt status as a vehicle for soliciting
charitable donations which can be used to sponsor and support various other non-exempt Swedish organizations that present
cultural, social and educational programs to Bay Area residents.
Among the various projects to which the Foundation has already provided financial support are seasonal Scandinavian
festivals, traditional musical events and travel lectures.
Your tax-exempt donations, can help us to educate the community regarding the many contributions
Swedish-Americans have made to today's society, and, spark new interest in others, who are just starting to consider
their Swedish heritage.
