Becoming a Donor:

Who Can Donate?

We invite anybody interested in the issues and topics we focus our efforts on to donate!  You do not need to be Swedish-American to donate.  You simply have to have an interest in helping Swedish-American organizations in San Francisco & the Bay Area, and the desire to financially support their educational and social events.

How Can You Donate?

There are many ways that you can help support the Swedish Foundation and its goals, but perhaps the best way is through charitable giving.

Your tax-deductible donations can be made in cash or kind.  They can be made now, over time, or in the future under your estate plan.  They can be large or small.  The key is to do what you can to actively support our efforts in preserving Swedish history, culture and traditions for generations to come!

In the past, many have donated lump sums, while an increasing number of people have started to arrange for planned giving under wills or trusts.  Donations of stock, mutual funds and other publicly traded securities is a great way to aid in the Foundation's efforts to support non-emempt Swedish organizations.

Who Should You Contact?

If you are interested in donating to the Swedish Foundation, or would like to learn more not only about how you can help, but how your tax-deductible donations can help you, please contact us and a knowledgeable representative will be in touch to assist you.
